The Virginia Tech Language and Culture Institute (VTLCI) is located
at 840 University City Boulevard across from the University Mall in Blacksburg. The number "840" is prominently displayed on the side of the building facing the road. Parking is
readily available and does not require a permit. If taking a bus, disembark at the at the Math Emporium stop on the Tom's Creek line and cross the street.

In the National Capital Region, VTLCI is located in the Northern Virginia Center. This facility, shared by Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia, is in the city of Falls Church, approximately 15 miles (24 kilometers) south of Washington, D.C. The Northern Virginia Center is conveniently located just off Route 66 at Route 7 (Leesburg Pike). My Metro, take the Orange Line to the West Falls Church stop. The Northern Virginia Center is immediately adjacent to the station beside George Mason Middle and High School.

Regular VTLCI office hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00
P.M. Monday through Friday, except for the following holidays:
- Martin Luther King Day - the third Monday of January
- Memorial Day - the last Monday in May
- Independence Day - July 4 (or celebrated weekday if a Saturday or Sunday)
- Labor Day - the first Monday in September
- Columbus Day - the second Monday in October
- Thanksgiving Day - the fourth Thursday in November
- The day after Thanksgiving
VTLCI offices are closed the last week of the year and are open limited hours the first week of the year.
